Announcement about an important meeting March 12th, 7:30pm @Bethlehem School
Learn more about what is happening in our town, including the removal of fluoride from the Lynnfield Center Water District
On March 12th, Ken Burnham, Superintendent of the Lynnfield Center Water District(LCWD) and Phil Crawford, Chairman of the Lynnfield Board of Selectman, will be joining our group for an informative meeting to discuss town matters.
Ken Burnham will discuss why fluoride was removed from the Lynnfield Center Water District water back in May 2016.
Phil Crawford will discuss Warrant Articles that residents will be voting on at the upcoming Town Meeting on Monday, April 24th. Many important topics will be on the agenda which include but are not limited to: Town Budget, renovations to Jordan Park, Fields Project Renovations at the Elementary Schools, Rail Trail Lease with the MBTA, Retail Marijuana Shops and Market Street.
This is a very important meeting for our members to attend so you are aware of happenings in our town and when you can vote on these matters.
Also, a few moms in this group are in the process of submitting Warrant Articles to the LCWD to add fluoride back into the water as well as to fund this process. If the warrants are accepted, they will be voted on at the April 3rd Lynnfield Center Water Department meeting. Whether you strongly agree/disagree with the towns removal of the fluoride, we urge you to attend both of these meetings (March 12 and April 3) and show your support either way.
Please note that the removal of the fluoride only impacts people in the Lynnfield Center Water District. Those that are within the Lynnfield Water District are not impacted.
Please also note that this is not an LMG initiative. We just want to make sure our members are informed with matters in the town
